Why Blogging IS Fluffy

I've been ranting about this ever since I started this rabbit hole. But if you don't believe me, just listen to what Steve Pavlina (a.k.a. the kick-ass personal development Bodhisattva) has to say about the practice of blogging.

When I started this site 16 months ago, my goal was to help people with their personal development. And based on the thousands of pieces feedback I’ve received since then, that expectation is certainly being realized. However, what I wasn’t fully prepared for was the massive amount of personal growth I would experience as a result of this decision. I expected there would be a symbiotic relationship that would provide additional fuel for my own growth, but the effect was far greater than I imagined. Consequently, I now believe that blogging may be one of the best tools for personal growth.

I want to add a couple of things to Steve's Blogging for Personal Growth. Based on my experience, blogging continues to extend and sharpen my memory. And speaking of self-assessment, it lets me make fun of myself publicly. Life's too short to take it too seriously.
